Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt has renewed its pursuit of Nottingham Forest attacker Arnaud Kalimuendo with the January transfer window approaching. The German club previously attempted to sign the twenty-four-year-old permanently following a successful loan spell last term, but financial constraints and high valuations stalled the deal.
Kalimuendo has since struggled for regular minutes under his current English employers, failing to register a league goal and largely appearing from the substitutes bench, which has sparked renewed interest from his former suitors. Club officials in Frankfurt are now weighing a potential temporary arrangement featuring a future purchase clause, departing from earlier demands for an outright sale.
Forest management faces a decision regarding squad depth versus potential capital generation, though no formal agreement has been finalized.
