Notre Dame vs BYU Countdown: Irish Defense Faces Biggest Test So Far

Undefeated Notre Dame and BYU are preparing for a major top-ten college football showdown this weekend in Provo. The second-ranked Fighting Irish bring a six-win record into the contest following a lopsided victory over Stanford, while the eighth-ranked Cougars enter undefeated after defeating their previous opponent twenty-four to ten.

Quarterback CJ Carr leads the visiting offense against a disciplined home defense, while dual-threat sophomore Bear Bachmeier runs the BYU attack after earning conference rookie honors last season.
