Notre Dame HC Marcus Freeman’s message to CFP committee after Miami win cold takes initial ranking snub

Following a hard-fought 31-24 triumph over the top-ranked Miami Hurricanes, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman made a direct pitch to the College Football Playoff selection committee regarding his team's postseason positioning. Playing at home on their own turf, the Fighting Irish used a dominant second quarter to build a decisive edge before withstanding a late surge from their opponents.

Key offensive moments included a touchdown connection between quarterback CJ Carr and receiver Jordan Faison, alongside a crucial goal-line stand that halted Miami. With this signature victory secured, the program aims to solidify its standing in the national playoff picture after previously dropping initial ranking considerations.
