Notre Dame football has made an ACC addition to its 2027 schedule

Notre Dame has rounded out its football lineup for the 2027 season by scheduling a matchup against Virginia. The Cavaliers will serve as the host for the upcoming contest, though the specific date and kickoff time remain unannounced.

The programs have met five times previously since their initial encounter in 1989, with Notre Dame claiming victory in every prior meeting. Their most competitive prior clash occurred in Charlottesville in 2015, resulting in a narrow 34-27 outcome in favor of the visiting side.

With this latest addition, the program's 2027 slate features opponents spanning every major collegiate conference, including contests against Auburn, Michigan State, Wake Forest, Clemson, BYU, and Duke.
