Northampton back-rower Pearson signs new contract

Tom Pearson has committed his future to the reigning league champions by inking an extension with Northampton. The back-row forward arrived at the club following the collapse of London Irish in mid-2023 and has since made over sixty appearances, contributing to back-to-back domestic final triumphs against Exeter and Bath.

With one senior international appearance to his name and recent experience in the reserve national setup, the flanker pointed to his ambitions of returning to the senior squad as a primary factor in his decision to remain at the venue. He credited the coaching staff with significantly improving his overall performance, set-piece execution, and offensive capabilities since joining the squad.
