No Blame Game: Deion Sanders Praises Colorado’s Unity Despite 4-Game Losing Streak

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders believes his squad is remaining unified despite a four-game losing streak. The Buffaloes, currently 2-4 overall and 0-3 in Big 12 play, are preparing for a trip to Oklahoma State this Saturday.

Sanders noted that he has eliminated finger-pointing from the locker room, emphasizing a pivot toward positivity rather than regrouping. To encourage his players, the coach had the team watch a motivational video featuring Ray Lewis.

Despite ranking last in the league offensively with 19.5 points per game, the team showed spirit during a recent 27-24 loss to No. 10 Utah.

During that game, JaQuail Smith caught a screen pass from Isaac Wilson for a 68-yard touchdown, a moment Sanders cited as evidence of the team's mutual support. Sanders also mentioned that the team has gone 5-13 since the departure of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders to the NFL.
