New Zealand Cricket has unveiled its 15-player squad for the upcoming five-match ODI series against India, set to begin on November 4 in Auckland. The lineup includes returning players like Rachin Ravindra, who will make his comeback after a shoulder injury ruled him out of the recent T20I series.
Finn Allen and Lockie Ferguson, both T20I specialists, will join the squad for the final two ODIs, while Tim Seifert returns to the ODI format after an 18-month absence. Only Mitchell Santner, Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Jacob Duffy, Will Young, and Blair Tickner will feature in all five matches, with seven additional players added for the last two games to provide depth ahead of the Test series and the 2027 World Cup preparations.
The series holds significant importance as both teams prepare for the upcoming global tournament, with New Zealand aiming to test squad rotations and acclimatize players to red-ball conditions before the Test series begins on November 19 at the Basin Reserve.
