Naderi breaks Aberdeen’s resistance as Rangers reach Premier Sports Cup final

Ryan Naderi secured a spot in the Premier Sports Cup final for Rangers by netting the decisive goal in the 83rd minute against Aberdeen. The forward redirected a James Penrice attempt to break the deadlock after a persistent defensive effort from the opposition.

Rangers now await the outcome of the other semi-final match between Hearts and Hibernian to determine their opponent for the championship game. Aberdeen faced significant roster challenges during the match, missing five defenders due to injury or suspension, and saw Emmanuel Gyamfi leave the pitch early following an injury.

Despite the tactical adjustments made by manager Derek McInnes, the team could not prevent the late defeat at the neutral site.
