MotoGP's final Phillip Island race cancelled, replaced with parade lap

Due to extreme weather and poor visibility for the medical helicopter, all Sunday racing at Phillip Island was scrapped, with Moto3, Moto2, and the premier MotoGP class being called off by 3:35pm local time. Instead of racing, riders will complete a parade lap behind the safety car to say goodbye to the own venue before the venue moves to Adelaide next year.

Organisers' ticketing partners are coordinating full refunds for Sunday-only pass holders and partial refunds for multi-day attendees.

Championship leader Marc Marquez leaves the Australian Grand Prix with a 10-point lead over Jorge Martin, who benefited from the absence of Sunday's race due to an injury. Martin is expected to attempt to compete in the next round at Sepang.
