More than just coverage: Trent McDuffie provides Rams with a calm, confident leader

Following a difficult season-opening defeat to San Francisco in Australia, the Los Angeles Rams rebounded with a 28-6 victory against the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium on September 21. Defensive coordinator Chris Shula and head coach Sean McVay praised offseason acquisition Trent McDuffie, noting the cornerback's composure and emotional intelligence in anchoring the secondary.

McDuffie, a veteran who previously won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs following his collegiate career at Washington and high school stints in California, secured an interception during the win over the Giants. Next, McDuffie and the Rams prepare to face the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday night.
