The Arizona Cardinals have finalized a trade sending fourth-round draft pick Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans in a deal that includes future draft capital.
The Texans, who confirmed the acquisition during a post-game press conference, will receive Harrison Jr. pending his successful completion of a physical.
In return, Arizona is set to obtain a 2027 second-round pick and a seventh-round selection—both originally owned by the San Francisco 49ers—as well as a sixth-round pick from Houston in the same year. Harrison Jr., selected fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, played in 33 games for the Cardinals, accumulating 1,578 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns over his tenure with the team.
Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort acknowledged the complexity of the decision, emphasizing the team’s commitment to prioritizing on-field success while expressing gratitude for Harrison Jr.’s contributions to the organization.
