Mohammed Siraj set to play for India A in 2nd unofficial Test against New Zealand A

Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has arrived in Christchurch ahead of schedule to prepare for upcoming international fixtures, and he will feature for the India A squad in their second unofficial Test match against New Zealand A. The multi-match tour encounter is scheduled to get underway at Hagley Oval starting October 31.

Siraj aims to acclimate himself to local conditions prior to the commencement of the ODI and Test series.

Additional roster changes are expected as the tour progresses. Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant are slated to integrate with the India A group for the concluding four-day fixture against New Zealand A, which takes place at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln beginning November 7.

Meanwhile, the senior squad's limited-overs campaign opens in Auckland on November 4.
