Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan has formally contacted the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency to push for clearer details regarding an ongoing inquiry involving him. He has also demanded the immediate handover of his mobile device, which investigators confiscated nearly a month ago following a defeat at Lord's.
While a local court previously dismissed his challenge against the authority of the agency, it instructed investigators to avoid causing him unnecessary inconvenience and allowed him to pursue the recovery of his personal items. Legal representatives for Rizwan stated that he voluntarily surrendered the hardware and its access password while in the United Kingdom, but they are now insisting that officials formally outline the specific allegations in writing.
