MMBets: The Boston Celtics don’t need Jaylen Brown to be a great team

Following a surprising playoff run last season where Boston advanced as the two seed before falling to Philadelphia in seven games, the front office engineered a massive roster shakeup. The organization traded Jaylen Brown to the 76ers in exchange for Paul George, moving on from a former Finals MVP while securing a new veteran piece alongside Mike Conley and Mitchell Robinson.

With Jayson Tatum returning fully healthy after missing time during a reset year, expectations remain high for the franchise as they target another fifty plus win campaign under head coach Joe Mazzulla. Analysts question whether the squad can eclipse their fifty point five win total without Brown carrying the load, but oddsmakers and observers project the revamped roster to clear that bar.
