MLB Divisional Round: Game 1 open thread

The postseason divisional round opened with all four best-of-five playoff matchups set on a standard two-two-one home field format. Higher seeded hosts held the home advantage for the opening pair of contests and the potential fifth game, while lower seeds hosted games three and four.

Among the opening day schedule, the Chicago White Sox visited the Cleveland Guardians on TBS, the Atlanta Braves faced the Los Angeles Dodgers on FOX, the New York Yankees played the Tampa Bay Rays on TBS, and the San Diego Padres traveled to the Milwaukee Brewers on FOX. Earlier in Los Angeles, Dodgers pitcher Tarik Skubal addressed the media during a press briefing leading up to the National League series opener.
