Mike Locksley buyout, contract details as Maryland Terrapins coach

Following a historic home defeat to UCLA, the future of Maryland football coach Mike Locksley has come under heavy scrutiny. If the university decides to terminate his employment during the current calendar year, the termination payment would total $9.2 million.

Locksley is currently locked into an agreement that runs through the 2028 campaign, paying him $6.4 million this year with scheduled increases in the subsequent seasons.
