Michelin bans soft compound for MotoGP Japanese GP

MotoGP official supplier Michelin has forbidden the use of the soft tyre choice for the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix. This decision follows severe rubber degradation problems experienced by several competitors during the sprint race at Motegi.

Elevated track warmth particularly hindered Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia on the soft rear spec, generating alarming broadcast footage.
