Manel Kape expects to style on Joshua Van like Anderson Silva did vs. Forrest Griffin

UFC lightweight contender **Manel Kape** has drawn a striking comparison to MMA legend **Anderson Silva**, suggesting he plans to dominate his upcoming opponent **Joshua Van** in a manner reminiscent of Silva’s dominant performances. The reference to Silva’s first-round knockout of **Forrest Griffin** at UFC 64 underscores Kape’s confidence in his striking prowess and ability to finish fights decisively.

While Kape has yet to secure a title shot, his growing reputation as a high-octane striker aligns with Silva’s signature style, raising expectations for a potential showdown at a future UFC card.

Elsewhere in the division, **Charles Oliveira** continues to push for a lightweight title opportunity, with his next bout against **Diego Lopes** at UFC 335 seen as a critical step toward earning a shot at **Justin Gaethje**. Oliveira’s recent victory over **Max Holloway** at UFC 326, though methodical, has kept him in contention for a title run.

Meanwhile, **Alexander Volkanovski** has reignited talk of a potential ‘winner-take-all’ superfight with Gaethje, though no official negotiations have been confirmed. The welterweight division also remains active, with **Islam Makhachev** and **Carlos Prates** poised for a high-stakes trilogy bout, while **Movsar Evloev** and **Alexander Volkanovski** prepare for their upcoming title defense at UFC 333.
