The PGA Tour has severed its sponsorship deal with Oneflight International, the private jet charter company that had backed its Myrtle Beach tournament. The move follows multiple lawsuits alleging Oneflight operated a fraudulent scheme, with claims that the company withheld over $150 million from customers and used funds for marketing, including PGA Tour sponsorships.
Three separate lawsuits in Colorado accuse Oneflight and its CEO, Ferren Rajput, of contract breaches and misappropriating payments, including $223,000 from Five-Star Audiovisual and $800,000 in cash and promotional credits from another plaintiff. Despite the departure, Visit Myrtle Beach will retain its co-title sponsorship for the 2027 event, scheduled for May 13–16, while Steve Mays has been named the new tournament director.
The PGA Tour has not commented on the legal proceedings or sponsorship change.
