Man Utd enquire about Toney - Sunday's gossip

Manchester United have reignited interest in Al-Ahli’s striker Ivan Toney, probing his availability after previously exploring a move for Leeds forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Premier League side’s focus on Toney, a 30-year-old England international, comes as they continue to assess their attacking options ahead of the transfer window’s closing stages.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are monitoring Chelsea winger Estevao Willian, with the Catalan club reportedly eyeing the 19-year-old Brazilian as a potential long-term target. The transfer activity extends beyond the top clubs, as Crystal Palace face a decision over striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, with reports suggesting the 29-year-old French forward is likely to leave Selhurst Park in January, either through a sale or as a free agent next summer.

Arsenal, too, remain active, maintaining contact with Real Madrid over Endrick while also tracking Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Can Uzun, both 20-year-old prospects with bright futures. Liverpool’s plans for midfielder Wataru Endo and winger Federico Chiesa appear set, with both expected to depart next season, while Manchester United’s JJ Gabriel is nearing a move to Real Madrid.

Everton, however, have ruled out a January push for Monaco striker Folarin Balogun after missing out on him in the summer.
