Luke Fickell’s ‘gritty ain’t pretty’ declaration will have Wisconsin fans hyped

Wisconsin secured a 24-7 victory over USC on Saturday, moving their record to 5-2 while handing the Trojans their second loss of the year. Coach Luke Fickell praised his team's gritty performance, noting that their style of play was effective despite limited offensive production.

Quarterback Colton Joseph managed the game efficiently with 58 passing yards and no turnovers, while the Badgers defense stifled USC by holding them to negative rushing yardage. The Trojans struggled throughout the contest, hampered by two interceptions thrown by Jayden Maiava and two missed field goals from Caden Chittenden.
