Liverpool ratings: Barcola, Wirtz, Gravenberch struggle in Fulham draw

Andoni Iraola's Liverpool side were held to a scoreless 0-0 stalemate by Fulham at Anfield, handing the visitors their very first Premier League point of the campaign. Seeking to maintain momentum following a midweek triumph in the Champions League, Iraola introduced three lineup adjustments, but the hosts lacked offensive rhythm, managing only a single attempt on frame prior to the interval.

Their nearest chance arrived when Víctor Muñoz struck the crossbar with a header from a Dominik Szoboszlai corner, while Alexander Isak offered promising movement up front. Although unable to find a winning strike despite elevated pressure late on, the Reds nevertheless secured their second consecutive domestic shutout.

Defensively, central defender Jérémy Jacquet shone brightest for the home side, producing an indispensable clearance off the line to rescue goalkeeper Alisson Becker after an initial blunder nearly presented Gonzalo García with a goal. While Alisson redeemed himself with notable second-half saves, Virgil van Dijk distributed cleanly from the back line to aid Liverpool's buildup.

Conversely, Ronald Araújo had difficulty tracking Fulham runners behind him while offering subpar service in the opposing half, Kostas Tsimikas found himself tested against Oscar Bobb and Kevin, and Ryan Gravenberch was pulled around the hour mark after a muted display in his return to the starting midfield.
