Liverpool coach admits he’ll tell players to dive in future

Following a one-zero defeat to Arsenal at Anfield, Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola expressed sharp criticism regarding a missed first-half penalty call involving Alexander Isak. Iraola stated that players are effectively being forced to dive because officials refuse to award fouls unless athletes go to the ground.

Kai Havertz secured the match-winning goal in the sixteenth minute after capitalizing on a mistake by Alisson Becker. Despite late pressure from Liverpool, including a free-kick off the crossbar by Florian Wirtz, Arsenal held on to claim their first league victory at the venue in fourteen years.
