LeBron James is happy to be a Sixer — and they’re sure happy to have him

Veteran forward LeBron James delivered his most productive performance since joining the Philadelphia 76ers, lifting his new squad to a tight three-point victory over the defending champion New York Knicks on Friday evening. James tallied twenty points, nine boards, and eight assists, leaning into his physical size to manufacture crucial scores down the stretch after teammate Jaylen Brown was sidelined by a knee ailment.

Head coach Nick Nurse praised the seasoned star for organizing the offense and asserting himself effectively, while James noted that his conditioning and integration into the team schemes continue to improve with every outing.
