England fast bowler Lauren Bell has committed to the Sydney Thunder for the 2026 Women's Big Bash League season. The 25-year-old returns to the franchise after previously playing for them during the 2023/24 campaign and will be available for the entire tournament.
Head coach Lisa Keightley expressed enthusiasm for the signing, noting Bell's ability to contribute across various phases of the game. This move follows Bell's successful stint in the 2026 WPL, where she secured 12 wickets for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
She is set to reunite with former teammate Georgia Voll and will play under the leadership of captain Phoebe Litchfield, alongside fellow England representative Heather Knight.
