Latest UFC odds: Justin Gaethje opens as betting favorite to smash Alex Volkanovski … but not by much

Following his successful title defense against Movsar Evloev at UFC 333, featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski is eyeing a move to the lightweight division. Volkanovski hopes to challenge Justin Gaethje for the 155-pound title, a move that UFC executive Dana White has signaled he would support.

Despite Volkanovski's status as a champion, betting markets currently favor Gaethje, listing him as a -180 favorite compared to the Australian's +157 underdog position. While Volkanovski has suggested this potential matchup could serve as a retirement contest for both fighters, Gaethje has yet to commit to a timeline for his own career conclusion.
