'The FW GOAT': Alexander Volkanovski's unreal UFC 333 knockout has fighters talking all-time greatness

Alexander Volkanovski secured a historic victory at UFC 333 on October 24, 2026, by defeating Movsar Evloev via a second-round TKO. The 38-year-old champion successfully defended his featherweight title for the seventh time across two separate reigns, marking his ninth title fight win in the division.

In doing so, he surpassed Jose Aldo's record for the most wins as a featherweight champion.

Following the win, Volkanovski expressed interest in a final bout against Justin Gaethje, a prospect Dana White noted. The event, held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, also saw Petr Yan retain his title.
