Lancs' Noman takes six wickets but Durham on top

Noman Ali claimed six wickets during the ongoing County Championship fixture, though Durham managed to push their first innings score to 493 before being bowled out. Persistent rain and poor visibility limited play significantly on the second afternoon at Emirates Old Trafford, allowing just over fifty-eight overs of action.

Lancashire safely negotiated a brief nine-over spell before the weather closed in permanently, reaching ten without loss by stumps.
