Following a 20-14 defeat to Minnesota that dropped Michigan to 3-2, head coach Kyle Whittingham warned that everything is under evaluation during the upcoming bye week. The Wolverines mustered just 180 total yards of offense, went scoreless in the second half, and converted only three of ten third-down attempts.
Quarterback Bryce Underwood struggled significantly in the contest, completing 10 of 21 passes for 101 yards and two interceptions. Whittingham acknowledged that difficult decisions lie ahead regarding player personnel and hinted that even the coaching staff could face scrutiny if performance does not improve.
