KL Rahul plays 100th ODI for India, landmark of 10,000 international runs in sight

KL Rahul reached a significant milestone by making his 100th appearance in the 50-over format for India during the second fixture of the series against West Indies. In addition to this century of matches, the batter is on the cusp of joining the select group of Indian players with five-figure international totals, sitting just thirty-five runs shy of ten thousand across all three formats.

Before the start of play at the venue, Rahul handed a maiden senior international cap to fast bowler Auqib Nabi, confirming the Jammu and Kashmir pacer's debut for the national side.
