Kawhi Leonard solves one Raptors problem. Who solves the others?

Kawhi Leonard returns to Toronto as the centerpiece of a blockbuster deal bringing him back to the Raptors alongside a massive two-year contract extension. The veteran forward instantly addresses the franchise's severe shooting deficiencies in isolation and pick-and-roll situations.

While Toronto parts with Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, and multiple draft assets to secure him, his elite offensive efficiency provides an immediate boost to young star Scottie Barnes.

Despite the splashy addition of a proven postseason scorer, the front office still faces remaining roster challenges to match the depth of their 2019 title team. Questions linger regarding who will replicate the crucial two-way contributions once provided by supporting pieces like Danny Green during their previous championship run.

With the roster currently ranking outside the top tier in preseason power projections, management must address these remaining gaps to truly contend in the East.
