Justin Champagnie sparks Wizards’ comeback win over Bucks

Justin Champagnie sparked a fourth‑quarter rally that lifted the Washington Wizards to a 128‑116 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at Capital One Arena. After entering the game early, he grabbed four of his eight total rebounds in the first quarter and later delivered a key three‑point shot that cut the deficit to three points.

A subsequent layup by Jalen Young was followed by Champagnie’s feed to Deandre Ayton for a go‑ahead basket, giving Washington its first lead since the second quarter. Coach Brian Keefe praised Champagnie’s all‑around impact, noting his high plus‑minus (+17), game‑leading offensive rating (138.6), defensive rating (102.3) and net rating (36.3).
