Josh Heupel compliments players, fans after Alabama win: 'I'll remember forever'

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel reflected on the Vols’ hard-fought 26-10 victory over Alabama at Neyland Stadium, where the electric atmosphere and defensive dominance stood out. Heupel praised his team’s resilience, particularly the defense’s ability to stifle the Crimson Tide’s high-powered offense, while also highlighting the balanced offensive performance that included a late-game, 15-play touchdown drive.

The win propelled Tennessee into the top 12 of the US LBM Coaches Poll, marking a significant step forward in their season. Heupel also singled out defensive coordinator Jim Knowles for his leadership, noting the players’ admiration for his tough yet engaging approach.

The victory, Heupel said, was a testament to the team’s ability to execute under pressure and adapt to adversity, setting the tone for continued improvement moving forward.
