ESPN SP+ ratings system predicts final score for Michigan State-UCLA matchup

UCLA’s undefeated start to the 2026 season has earned them a top-10 ranking in the latest AP Poll, climbing to No. 9 after a dominant 17-7 victory over Wisconsin.

The Bruins’ six-game winning streak marks their best start since 2022, with head coach Bob Chesney leading the charge in his first year after a successful tenure at James Madison. Meanwhile, Michigan State faces a tough test in their upcoming matchup against UCLA, with the Spartans’ recent win over Penn State failing to move them in ESPN’s SP+ rankings.

The game, set for October 24, will test UCLA’s momentum as they continue their rise in college football, while Michigan State looks to break through against a top-tier opponent in Pasadena.
