Jos Buttler ruled out of Pakistan tour, doubtful for Australia series

England skipper Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the upcoming tri-nation ODI tour in Pakistan due to a hamstring injury sustained while batting against Sri Lanka. Jordan Cox is slated to replace the injured wicketkeeper-batter in the traveling party.

Furthermore, Buttler faces significant doubt regarding his availability for the subsequent white-ball matches in Australia. Head coach Brendon McCullum confirmed the setback, noting that establishing an exact timeline for the player's recovery remains difficult.

The England and Wales Cricket Board is scheduled to finalize selection decisions for the upcoming fixtures soon as preparations continue.
