England announces ODI squad for tri-series in Pakistan: Jofra Archer, Buttler rested

England has selected a sixteen-player touring party for an upcoming three-team 50-over competition hosted in Pakistan, featuring Sri Lanka as the third participant. The roster will be captained by Harry Brook, though selectors opted to leave out Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler, with the latter sidelined due to a hamstring issue sustained during a prior series against Sri Lanka.

Head coach Brendon McCullum previously addressed the injury absence. Additional changes to the lineup include recalls for Sam Curran and Adil Rashid, alongside a maiden international selection for Mason Crane after a nine-year absence.

The round-robin fixtures are scheduled to commence on October 18, with matches divided across Rawalpindi and Lahore before concluding with a final between the top two finishers.
