Joe Kropschot says bonus-winning submission at UFC Vegas 123 was just 6/10

UFC Vegas 123, held at Meta Apex in Las Vegas, delivered standout performances from two rookies who made their Octagon debuts with dominant finishes. The event, themed as UFC Halloween, saw both newcomers go 2-0, securing victories that included submission wins.

Among the highlights, Jacobe Smith extended his undefeated record with a hard-fought decision over Randy Brown, while Tom Nolan added to his six-fight win streak with a main-event TKO over lightweight contender Renato Moicano. The night also featured bonus awards, with Nolan and Julian Erosa each earning $100,000 for their efforts, including Erosa’s retirement bout finish.

Meanwhile, Joe Kropschot, whose submission earned him a bonus, downplayed his achievement, rating it just 6 out of 10 in a candid assessment. The event also sparked post-fight discussions, including Smith’s plans to target specific opponents in pursuit of a welterweight title shot.
