Renuka Singh Thakur has been withdrawn from India's upcoming three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe due to fitness concerns. The BCCI confirmed the 30-year-old pacer is currently undergoing a workload management program at the Centre of Excellence to prepare for the longer format.
Jintimani Kalita has been named as her replacement in the squad. Kalita, who recently participated in the T20I series against Zimbabwe, will compete for a place in the starting lineup alongside Nandni Sharma, Kranti Gaud, and Sayali Satghare.
The ODI series is scheduled to commence on October 23.
