Esteban Ocon was removed from the Haas lineup during the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend following a heated dispute with team principal Ayao Komatsu. The conflict reportedly stemmed from a disagreement regarding tire selection with race engineer Laura Mueller during Friday practice, leading to Ocon being replaced by reserve driver Ryo Hirakawa.
While Ocon denied allegations of physical confrontation, 2009 world champion Jenson Button suggested this incident could jeopardize the driver's future prospects in Formula 1. Haas has already confirmed that Ferrari junior Rafael Camara will join the team for the 2027 season.
