Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese has drawn praise from media commentator Jason Whitlock for her dominant postseason run. Following a recent ninety-seven to seventy-one victory over the Golden State Valkyries, Reese and her team hold a two to one advantage in the WNBA Finals.
Whitlock noted that Reese has averaged nineteen point four points and ten point two rebounds per game this postseason, totaling sixty-five points and forty rebounds through the first three finals contests. Reese previously defeated Caitlin Clark for the twenty-twenty-three NCAA title during their college careers at LSU and Iowa, and Whitlock suggested that a professional championship for Reese could create a difficult dynamic for Clark and her supporters.
