Ja'Marr Chase plans to appeal NFL celebration fine, calls for NFLPA to fight for players' money

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase plans to contest a league-issued financial penalty stemming from a touchdown celebration performed alongside teammate Tee Higgins during a twenty to six victory against the Houston Texans. Chase explained that the gesture was intended as a tribute to Dwayne Johnson's professional wrestling career rather than the offensive interpretation applied by league officials.

In addition to Chase and Higgins, the NFL also disciplined guard and fullback for separate on-field demonstrations.
