Isack Hadjar makes bold Max Verstappen ‘in a Ferrari’ claim as he rejects Red Bull narrative

Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar has claimed that team-mate Max Verstappen would have secured an even larger margin of victory at the Singapore Grand Prix if he had been behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Despite Verstappen capturing consecutive dominant wins in Malaysia and Singapore ahead of the upcoming United States Grand Prix, Hadjar rejected the notion that his team currently fields the fastest vehicle on the grid.

Instead, he argued that Ferrari possessed the superior machine in Singapore and that Verstappen's pole position and racecraft made the difference.

Meanwhile, McLaren driver Oscar Piastri weighed in on Red Bull's recent momentum following upgrades introduced in Baku. Piastri noted that Red Bull has emerged as a consistent frontrunner, though he acknowledged that Ferrari has consistently exhibited top-tier cornering speed despite losing ground on the straightaways.
