The Indian men's squash squad finished their campaign with a bronze medal at the Asian Games following a 1-2 defeat to Malaysia in the semifinals. Abhay Singh fell in the opening fixture to Eain Yow, before Veer Chotrani leveled the tie by defeating Sanjay Jeeva.
However, Velavan Senthilkumar dropped the deciding match against Ameeshenraj Chandaran, preventing the team from reaching the final and defending their previous gold. In the women's draw, the Indian side also settled for bronze after dropping their semifinal 1-2 to Hong Kong, with Anahat Singh, Tanvi Khanna, and Joshna Chinappa contesting the individual rubbers.
