Cricket board official Devajit Saikia has refuted claims that the upcoming opening one-day fixture between India and Sri Lanka will be relocated. Addressing speculation regarding potential shifts due to ongoing stadium upgrades, the administrator affirmed that the capital city remains the confirmed host for the December 13 encounter.
The visiting squad's upcoming itinerary comprises three one-day matches and three twenty-over contests. Following the series opener, the action shifts to Bengaluru and Ahmedabad for the remaining fifty-over games, before the teams transition to Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune for the shortest format.
