Top takeaways from the Ravens’ overtime win over the Falcons

The Baltimore Ravens secured a 30-23 extra-session triumph against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night. Head coach Jesse Minter and his coaching staff orchestrated a successful fourth-quarter rally and overtime win after overcoming early mistakes.

Quarterback Tyler Huntley guided a lengthy drive culminating in a game-tying touchdown, while Declan Doyle dialed up clever play-calling that included exploiting backup cornerback Mike Ford and utilizing Zay Flowers alongside Derrick Henry. Conversely, tight end Mark Andrews struggled with multiple dropped passes, a failed two-point conversion attempt, and a fumble returned for a score, prompting calls to increase the usage of rookies Matthew Hibner and Josh Cuevas.

Meanwhile, rookie Vega Ioane filled in at emergency center despite dealing with uneven snaps.
