India crush Zimbabwe by 92 runs in third T20 to sweep series

India completed a commanding 3-0 sweep of Zimbabwe in the Women’s T20 series with a dominant 92-run victory in the decider on Tuesday. The hosts posted a towering 216 for seven off 20 overs, with opener Shafali Verma and captain Harmanpreet Kaur anchoring the innings with rapid half-centuries (69 and 91 not out, respectively).

Zimbabwe’s chase faltered at 124 for seven, as India’s bowlers tightened the screws early, with Nandani Sharma claiming three wickets for just 18 runs in her four overs. Sharne Mayers provided the visitors’ lone bright spot with a 60-ball 60, but the deficit proved insurmountable after India’s aggressive start set the tone from the first ball.
