Niki Prasad made her international T20 debut for India Women in their opening match against Zimbabwe Women at the Shaheed Veer Narayan International Stadium in Raipur. The 20-year-old all-rounder, who previously captained India to victory in the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup and the U-19 Asia Cup, has been a standout performer in domestic and A-team cricket.
She played a key role in India A’s recent One-Day series win over Australia A in Chandigarh and currently represents Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League. Prasad’s inclusion in the senior squad marks a significant step forward for India’s young talent pipeline ahead of the series against Zimbabwe.
