Uttar Pradesh have introduced an innovative leadership structure for their upcoming domestic cricket season, dividing responsibilities between red-ball and white-ball formats. For the Ranji Trophy, Aryan Juyal and Gyanendra Pandey will jointly oversee the team’s first-class commitments, marking a rare approach to captaincy in domestic cricket.

Meanwhile, Karan Sharma and Sudip Tyagi will lead the white-ball squad, ensuring specialized focus on limited-overs formats. The Ranji side includes standout players like Yash Dayal, Zeeshan Ansari, and Abhinandan Singh, who will play key roles under the new arrangement.
