Illinois at Michigan State game time announced

The upcoming schedule details have been finalized for the Illinois football squad as they prepare for their second away fixture of the upcoming schedule. League officials confirmed that the matchup in East Lansing against Michigan State is slated for an afternoon start at 2:30 p.m.

Central Time on October 10th, with television coverage provided by FS1. This upcoming trip marks the program's initial visit to the location since a dramatic 37-34 comeback victory during the final quarter back in 2019.

Prior to heading northward for that mid-October clash, the squad will first host a matchup against Purdue with the Cannon Trophy on the line. That rivalry encounter is scheduled for a 3:15 p.m. Central Time kickoff on Saturday afternoon.
