
Ahead of their upcoming fourth week matchup, the New Orleans Saints released their final practice participation designations following Saturday's session on October third. Linebacker Kaden Elliss due to a calf issue, defensive end Carl Granderson on account of an ankle problem, and linebacker Anfernee Jennings with a knee injury missed the workout entirely and will sit out the next game.
Additionally, linebacker Pete Werner was held out of practice because of a shoulder concern and enters the contest carrying a questionable designation.
Several other members of the squad managed varying levels of involvement during the weekend workout. Defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd and tight end Treyton Welch were absent due to non-injury reasons, while cornerback Jayden Price saw limited action managing an ankle ailment.
Meanwhile, safety Julian Blackmon working through a calf issue, wide receiver Barion Brown dealing with a hamstring complaint, defensive tackle Christen Miller nursing a toe injury, cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. managing a shoulder concern, and defensive tackle Davon Godchaux due to non-injury factors all took full part in practice and cleared the injury report.
